If our country acted, during WWII, like we do now...we'd all be speaking German and Japanese. While there was a large amount of isolationism...of "it's not our war" while Europe burned, only the true wack-jobs continued that chant after Pearl Harbor. How is Pearl Harbor different from 9/11? One was an unprovoked attack by an aggressively expanding empire/nation, and one was an unprovoked attack by an aggressively expanding religion. Japan wanted/needed the resources of China and Indonesia, and saw the US as an obstacle to their goals of dominating the entire Pacific region. Islam wants the entire world to be Muslim, and sees the US as the epitome of "what is evil about the West", and so we must be exterminated. My point? If we don't erradicate facist Islam...just like we eradicated the facist Nazis and the fanatical Japanese. Our men & women in the Armed Forces are doing an incredible job, worthy of the respect of those warriors who have gone before them. But the amount of sedition and treason is far above what was previously dealt with during war-time situations, and isn't being appropriately dealt with by the Administration. Lincoln dealt with it during the Civil War...Wilson dealt with it during WWI...FDR dealt with it during WWII...Truman dealt with it during Korea. Since Johnson during Vietnam and forward to today...the pussy-liberals who make up half of the baby-boomers having taken discontent, sedition, anarchy and treason to new levels. If our country does not tighten it's resolve and efforts to stem the flood of Islam and it's terrorism...we will lose our country as we know it...and the terrorists know that very clearly. As usual, Ann's regular readers make incredible points about the situation. I submit that you can not find a better example of a probe of our current airline practices (especially in flight). It occured to me when I heard the story initially, and is solidified to me as Ann describes details that the media (of course...) didn't talk about. Those scumbags were probing us for another attack, but that's just my gut-feeling. Islam is more dangerous than the Nazis, mostly because there are so many, but also because of the religious fanaticism. There is no reasoning with them or treating with them. Recent email to the idiots at ODOT...

I would like to know why the main arterial infrastructure of the entire metropolitan area is grossly underdesigned? I travel regularly on a fair amount of Portland's main arterials, so I know the traffic issues first hand; and I see the DAILY traffic jams on ALL of Portland's freeways and expressways. They were underdesigned when they were built in the 60's and 70's, and ODOT has done nothing to make them appropriate for the amount of traffic we have, much less to accommodate future traffic. Whoever is in charge needs to wake up from their 40-year nap and figure this out! A 12 yo kid with SimCity could do a better job at designing our infrastructure! Hwy 217 was just repaved. Nice! More lanes? Nope! Ease traffic congestion? Nope! Hwy 26 was finally (almost) finished. Nice! More lanes? One. Ease traffic congestion? Not much, if any. I-205 bottlenecks at the Abernethy Bridge. I-5 bottlenecks through the center of the city!! If ODOT were a privately held company, they would have gone out of business 30 years ago! But since they're government, I guess it's okay to be ludicrous! Tell whoever is in charge there...figure it out!! Let me know if he/she needs their hand held and some common sense spoon-fed to them...It would only take about 4 hours to give them a clue...

Michelle Malkin brought up, in her newest RedStatesUSA article, an ad by MAC cosmetics featuring Sandra Bernhard spouting her typical political scat while hawking lip gloss. I perceive this as part of a seeming trend in advertising these days, as advertisers try to push the envelope of "appropriateness" in their ads. Example: The Amp'd Mobile add where the guy (at the end of the ad) is bleeped when he uses the "S" word. Or the ad (that did get changed...and I helped!) with the tag line "You bet your sweet Aspercreme". Or even the anti-smoking ads by a website called "Whaddafxup?". Sound it out, and it doesn't leave anything to the imagination. We even had a local car dealership end an ad with "Love you long time". I emailed them and asked them, "What's next?, 'Sucky sucky five dollar?". The pulled the ad. Now you have a cosmetics firm using a has-been third-rate actress who is noted for her pussy-liberal political views as their spokesperson in an ad that uses the "B" word. What's next? Michael Moore doing McDonalds ads? Nils is right...advertisers live in their own little world. What we need is a grass-roots effort of conservatives in this country to boycott products of the liberals...especially Hollywood...and let our pocketbooks be our voice...and hit them where it hurts them the most...their money.

The Media Convicts with No Proof or Trial...if it suits them.
The immediate condemnation of these Marines & Navy Corpsman...and Lt. Pantano last year...and the military in general, now and during Vietnam...by the liberal media and the socialist Left is pathetic. John Murtha and all his ilk are sick, pandering, spineless weasels. Murtha hides behind his prior service like a shield, but he has dishonored his service by his current words and actions. The Left hates the military and show it time and again by their actions. They proclaim to "support the troops", all the while taking every opportunity to denegrate and disparage them. But where are the so-called "leaders" on the Right? They cower like quivering little purse dogs, lacking any spine or leadership. As a 13-year Army veteran, I am sickened by the path of our country, and how the Left gets away with too much because there are so few who are calling them on the carpet about it. It is always possible that an individual will loose control and do terrible things in time of war. But an entire squad at a moments notice? No...and as more information comes out, these brave men will be exonerated...but not by the media. That doesn't serve the Left's agenda, and their agenda is paramount...even more important than our Nation and it's security, because the nation that the Left wants is socialism...not our capitalistic republic, and they will do ANYTHING to get it. They want us to be France, with a military as worthless as France's. We have great men and women serving in our military, and I believe these Marines and the Navy Corpsman are part of that, despite what the media wants everyone to believe. The so-called "reporters" who pander this filth are pathetic, seditious weasels. I hope that when these soldiers are cleared, civil slander suits are filed against every one of the worthless media outlets who convicted them publicly without trial or proof...and without any care for our military but to make them look bad.

Our nation is in such a perilous moment in it's history...as perilous as any in our nation's history. As perilous as our revolution for independence...as perilous as our Civil War...as perilous as our Great Depression...as perilous as WWII...as perilous as The Cold War...but we may be lost, because we lack the LEADER to see us through. Many brilliant and visionary men took great risk to found our country in our revolution for independence. Lincoln brought the country through the Civil War. FDR brought us out of the Great Depression and through WWII. Reagan was instrumental in ending The Cold War. Instead, today we have liberals trying to ruin our nation into socialism and conservatives trying to stay out of their way so they don't get hurt...and a President who turned out to be just another wet dream. He isn't even worth comparing to masterbation, because at least with masterbation you get the outcome you were wanting and expecting. What does that make John Kerry and Ted Kennedy and their ilk? That would be getting butt-raped in prison by a skin-head gang...every day.

We have such true patiots though, true patriots who love America. But they are on the side pointing out the vast stupidity to the rest of us. They are smart and dedicated. They are honest and have earned respect. They are Ann Coulter and Colonel Ollie North and Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity and Colonel David Hunt and Michelle Malkin...and locally in Oregon Lars Larson. Each is smarter and has more balls on their own than our entire Congress and White House combined...but they are not our leaders. With leaders such as they, our nation would be strong, secure, and NO ONE would mess with us. With leaders such as they, our border would be secured...truly secured, our laws would be simple and sensible, our taxes would be put to good use and not wasted, our enemies would know that if they mess with us, they will be eliminated. Not spanked...not put in "time out"...not harshly spoken to...eliminated.

Our patriots are not our leaders...and that is a disconnect that will cost us our country. Instead of patriots; we have Ted Kennedy and John Kerry and Hillary Clinton and Barbara Boxer and other dangerous reprobates who are doing their damnedest to tear our country apart and turn it into a socialist non-issue. Conservative leadership? Cowering in fear of the screeching banshee's that make up the liberal left. Our conservative "leadership" is allowing the socialist liberals to ruin our country.

Solution? Simple. Patriots...you know who you are...take over!! It is time for a second American Revolution...or we will no longer have an America to love. And I will lay down my life in your service if you have the fortitude and desire to take back our beautiful, wonderful country.

It's almost mesmerizing to see blatant truth and insightful exposure of the liberal way send life-time achievement award winning kool-aid drinkers into a diatribe-frothing frenzies. One of the huge differences between people on the Right and people on the Left is; you are allowed to have your opinion on the Right, and you are allowed to have THEIR opinion on the Left. The "tolerance group" is not very tolerant, is it? Here's a little experiment. Try posting an opposing view on a notoriously Left-wing site...especially one as ranting as SoxSweepsAgain. Won't happen. You'll never see it. You're only entitled to their opinion. Smarter people than me have succinctly and credibly compared todays far-left socialist liberals with the Nazis of the 1930's. I have to agree. And they control the media...so a lot of America, which thinks Survivor and American Idol are "culture" believe everything they hear and see. Why shouldn't they I guess...the Right doesn't ensure that the truth is out there. That's one thing the Right does not do well at all and better get better at real soon....marketing themselves. The Left is great at marketing themselves...their lies and misinformation...they market it very well mostly because they are ALWAYS saying it and they say it in many forms, including the movies we watch and most of the news programs. So...the good news...we're all entitled to our opinions. The bad news...our conservative leadership needs to take Marketing 101.

The Right needs a Leader...

The Right...the conservatives in this country...need a true leader. President Bush has satisfied some aspects of that need...and thankfully kept us from the doom for our country named "Kerry"...but he lacks aspects that are paramount to our country's success and national security. Illegal immigration and allowing more jobs to go overseas being part of that. I've been rather forelorn for several months because it does not seem that there is really that leader on the Right that can do what we need done.

The Left has many "Leaders"...all of them as socialist and traitorous as the next...each of them capable of ruining our Republic by turning it in to a socialist country like France or Canada. Do either of those countries make a difference in the world? Nope. What country...in the HISTORY OF THE WORLD...has done more than the United States in protecting freedom in general and the sovereignty of other nations? Than helping nations that have experienced famine and natural disaster? No one. The entire world owes the USA something and so many of these countries spit back in our face.

It occured to me today just exactly who that leader for us on the Right...whether you are Republican or Independant. I realized it as I read an article that he had posted on RedStatesUSA.com. I realized it as I thought about all the things the man has already done for our country. I realized it as I accepted that he has always shown that he is a patriot and has ALWAYS put his country before himself.

LTC(R) Oliver North. Yup...Ollie North should be our next president. He has the experience, knowledge and wisdom to handle it...the patriotism to handle it correctly...and the backbone to stand up to the constant yammering and screaming from the Left. I swear...they sound like a bunch of yapping chihuahua's with bull-horns.

What about Condi? You know...she is smart and savvy and has "black" and "female" going for her...and would be a superb Vice President for a strong character like Ollie North.

I would follow Ollie North in battle (and was in the Army while he was in the Marines, so I know...)...and I would support him as President.

Could it happen?!? He's already given so much to our country, I probably don't deserve to even ask...but I ask anyway. What do you say Colonel North?!? Will you be the leader that we so desparately need?

David Letterman shows how liberal...and stupid...he really is.
Tuesday night 1/3, Bill O'Reilly appeared on Late Night with David Letterman. I had to see this, so I stayed up to watch it. I haven't watched David Letterman for years because, not only is his show boring and lame (unless you're a New Yorker, I guess...), he is one of the pussy liberals in America that apparently would rather see another 9/11 than to support our troops and our president during a time of war. One could even call it sedition...but that's another blog.

Now, one thing I want to point out very pointedly is that after David Letterman had announced that Bill O'Reilly was one of his guests that night, David Letterman deliberately swirled his pencil (that he handles and Lord knows does what else with...) in the coffee cup for the guest. The audience noticed it too. I can't wait to see Bill's response when he realizes what Letterman did.

So Bill O'Reilly comes out and immediately takes control of the conversation, starting with all the PC-ites wanting to take Christmas out of Christmas (to which DL could mostly say BO was making too big a deal of it...typical pussy liberal...), going through Cindy Sheehan (to which DL tried to justify her calling the terrorists "freedom fighters" - *gag*...) and ending with David Letterman admitting that he isn't as smart as Bill O'Rielly, but believes 60% of what Bill says is completely wrong, even though David Letterman said he's never seen The O'Reilly Factor...must be on the Left-wing Talking Points memo.

The bottom line is this...the socialist liberals in our country will say anything to forward their agenda, even when they know nothing of which the speak, and when confronted, they often can't back up their statements with facts so they make it up as they go, use left-wing talking points, or simple dodge the question and counter with some inflamatory comment or question.

They really like the flavor of their Kool-aid...

The liberals in America today are more dangerous than Al Queada. They really are! They consistently put national security and our armed forces at risk for the sole purpose of trying to bring down George Dubya. And it isn't just one or two...it is the talking points of the entire Left! From Howard Dean as head of the DNC to active Senators and Representatives like Hillary Clinton, John Kerry and Ted "Chappaquidick" Kennedy; to entertainers like Barbara Streisand, Alec Baldwin and George Clooney; most of the media, like Ted Turner, Alan Colmes and Dan Rather; and even supposed religious "leaders" like Jesse Jackson and Alan Sharpton.

Every single one of these America-hating socialist liberals and all of their ilk should be arrested and incarcerated for sedition if not out-right treason!

By the same token...the leadership on the Right needs to grow some balls and a spine so that these socialist liberals don't take over our country!

What do I want for Christmas this year? I want some balls and spines for our conservative leadership...that's what I want for Christmas this year...

This past Thursday, 12/15/05, local talk-radio icon Lars Larson was discussing the threats of vandalism and destruction and violence to a seemingly innocent and simple desire to show some "true meaning of Christmas" by having a cross up at Pioneer Square in Downtown Portland. One of the many callers supporting his efforts was a postal carrier who was told that (after 20 years of doing so...) could not wear a Santa hat while doing his route. Here's one of the things that we can do as citizens...as members of our society...and that is to voice our opinion...and that's what I did to the USPS, telling them of my displeasure with that incident. Bad advertising for the USPS...and that if this is how they were going to be, I can choose not to use there services and help them along their way to extinction that much sooner, by increasing my use of email, on-line bill-pay and FedEx/USPS...for personal and business...and I told them so. Will it do any good. Not by myself...but if more people start voicing their opinions...to the USPS...to the state and local governments...to businesses. And the most effective way to voice an opinion and get some notice and results is: en-masse...volume...quantity. We as citizens have to figure out how to organize and get our voices heard via coordinated efforts. Only then will we be able to affect our society in the manner that is needed. We live in drastic times, and that requires drastic measures...without stooping to the lying, cheating, stealing and theats of the liberals who are trying to bring socialism to our country...at any cost.

In a recent posting on the GOPUSA website, Bobby Eberle (Hey Howard… Where’s your plan? , posted Dec 1, 2005), Mr. Eberle is discussing the typical Democrat (I read "socialist liberal") tactic is basically to attack and complain but offer no solutions. In talking about an email that the esteemed brainiac Howard Dean in his appropriate role as Chairman of the DNC, Eberle says: "The letter goes on to say that Republicans are using attack strategies to 'distract people from the simple fact that they have lost credibility on national security and foreign policy.' ” .

While this is (in my humble opinion) totally true, I say the tactics of the left go even farther and I use the above quote as one of a gazillion examples. The Left accuses the Right of doing something, all the while they are doing that exact thing. In the example, Dean says that the Right is "using attack strategies to 'distract people...' ", which is exactly what the Left does all the time...in fact is one of their primary tactics.

The leadership for the Right needs to take off the kid gloves and go at these traitors and seditionists and call them on the carpet publicly and fervently for what these leftist socialist idiots are doing to this country. To do otherwise in these days of dirty politics, smear tactics and deliberate undermining of our national security is naive and reckless and allows our country to be put at great risk...which is just as criminal.

Liberals have always been the ones that wanted things to be "different". No matter what the status quo was...it needed to change. They used to be the ones that that sneered at the government, burned their bras & draft cards and generally turned their backs on and their fingers up at "the man". Some of that is still prevalent among liberals...but now those same former-hippie "beware the government" types are the biggest proponents for big government...and I mean BIG government...that there are. Even worse...they are flat-out socialists. Socialism is the government doing every for the individual. and Liberals want government to do everything for you; from regulate your intake of certain things to what you can say and what you can hear and even who has more rights than others. Welfare, Social Security (as the Ponzi scheme that it is now), public education, government health care...the list is immense in the scope that our government takes over and regulates our lives...and to the socialist liberals that isn't enough yet. Our Founding Fathers did not intend the federal government to be the leviathan it has become. Print money, maintain a military and regulate trade was it's primary goals...NOT define and tax every move we make. The majority of the governing was to happen at the state level. So...to draw this up before it becomes a freakin' manifesto...the bottom line is: If you want big government and you want government to take care of you...you're enjoying the path toward socialism our country is being led down. If you want small government and the ability to make your own choices and be responsible for your own actions...then you'd better start being the squeeky wheel!!
